A passport seems like a funny little book, doesn't it? You pay hundreds of dollars to have a horrible picture taken and put into a book - just so you can take that said book and show the hideous picture to the world, right??
This book is your key to adventure. Your gateway to the world. Your bridge to the other side...*insert more corny one liners here*...You get the idea.
My point is, this little book opens up a whole new world (ok, sorry I really wasn't done with the corny one liners. Oops!). If you don't know already, I have a serious travel bug inside me. It never goes away. I am always thinking about my next adventure, the next culture I will get to experience and the new people I will get to meet. IT'S SO EXCITING TO THINK ABOUT!!!
Without my precious little passport, I would have never been to islands in Greece, Mexico, the Bahamas, the Netherlands, Italy, Costa Rica, England and so many other places. I would have never eaten authentic gyros (amazing by the way!). I would have never put my feet on some of the most beautiful beaches. My passport allowed me to breathe in fresh air of one of the 5 blue zones of the world. (Don't know what a blue zone is? Click here.)
